Park Soran Park Soran was born in Seoul in 1981. Her poetry collections include Words Close to the Heart, One Person’s Closed Door, Itta, and Suok, alongside an essay collection, Buildings and Poems. She has edited works by Kim Myeong-sun, a pioneering Korean woman writer, and received accolades from the Shin Dong-yup Prize for Literature, the Tomorrow's Korean Writer Award, the Dongguk Literary Award, and the Hyundae Munhak Literary Award, among others. She currently teaches poetry at Dongguk University and the Korea National University of Arts.
